Paparazski™ was founded in 2020 with a view to rethink conventional female ski wear. The goal is simple: to empower women by maximising movement, comfort and confidence both on and off-piste.
“Every year that I go skiing, I'm met with the same problem: women's ski wear.”
It's either big, baggy, shapeless and unflattering, or extortionately expensive and inaccessible to the once or twice a year skier. I couldn't understand why the tight, figure-hugging, shape-improving athleisure trend hadn't made its way onto the slopes.
For years I wore a double layer of waterproof thermal leggings on my ski trips instead of salopettes — and I was approached on every trip being asked where my “ski trousers” were from. I wasn't the only one who felt something was missing in this market.
If two pairs of leggings could tick the warmth, waterproof and desirable aesthetic boxes, what could be created using high-performance endurance fabrics, designed by experts to sculpt shape and enhance the figure? And so the idea behind Paparazski was born.
Fast forward five years, and we have created a ski suit collection that is so flattering, so functional and so fabulous. I am excited for this journey that's only just begun.
